Last week, children from Bears and Robins visited The Think Tank.
They took part in a Space Workshop, where they got to experience what it was like to be an astronaut! They had a go at the every day tasks a real life astronaut would do, such as trying to put bolts in a jar whilst wearing 3 layers of gloves and using robotic arms to pick things up! This was difficult but very fun to try. They even tested the absorption rates of the nappies that astronauts have to wear on long missions! To end it all they had a journey around the universe in the planetarium and were able to identify stars in our solar system.
Miss Sahota said they were all so well behaved, and a real credit to George Betts! Well done Year 5!
